DUOBIOTIC Alpha is a microbial biofertiliser based on a Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacterium (PGPR) enhanced with a metabolite of microalgal origin, a natural chemical signal of interaction between the bacteria and the rhizome, promoting synergistic microorganism-plant action, enhancing its benefit in the crop.

1.- Biofertiliser and biostimulant action:

It has the ability to improve soil and rhizosphere fertility by promoting the assimilation of numerous micro- and macronutrients. It is also notable for its phytohormonal action as it produces indole acetic acid (IAA), promoting the activation of cell division pathways and improving both plant growth and root development. All this leads to an improvement in photosynthetic activity and nutrient transport as well as an increase in yield and final fruit quality.

2.- High adaptability to different soils and environments:

Rhizobacteria have been selected and characterised from isolates with high agronomic value and after numerous studies on their behaviour and interaction with microbiota in various soils and environments. The complex is highly tolerant to variations in temperature, salinity and soil pH.

It has a high capacity to improve plant growth by increasing nutrient assimilation through processes such as solubilisation of inorganic phosphate and mineralisation of organic phosphate. It also has a high capacity to transform potassium from different sources present in the natural environment into assimilable potassium. It also plays an effective role in the production of siderophores, transforming iron (III) in the assimilable, iron (II), increasing the leaf content in the crop.

It acts as a biocontrol agent by means of indirect action mechanisms, protecting the crop against different phytopathogenic microorganisms, through the production of enzymes such as glucanases, chitinases or other compounds such as siderophores.

Duobiotic alpha also acts as an IRS-inducing agent, activating different signalling pathways in response to biotic or abiotic stress. The production of the enzyme ACC deaminase regulates ethylene biosynthesis, preventing it from accumulating in plants in high concentrations and triggering a rejuvenating effect.
