Biorizon Biotech, has been at Fruit Attraction 2022 with a frenetic activity. This year 2022 we have increased our presence at Fruit Attraction with a larger stand, in the main aisle and in the Eco Organic Market area. To this end, greater emphasis has been placed on the product range for sustainable agriculture.
Our stand has been designed to show each of our products in detail.
Biorizon Biotech, this year 2022, arrives at Fruit attraction giving a new step in the agricultural revolution, a new way of looking at plant nutrition by considering that the best source of nutrients is already in the soil, we just need to recover them to make them useful.
For years, we have been studying soil/root interactions in depth, identifying the actors involved and the processes involved. Our ultimate goal is to develop new products that improve the profitability, quality and sustainability of both intensive and extensive agriculture.
Therefore, in this fair, the attendees have known first hand the new ‘Optimum Products’ that offer solutions specially designed for Sustainable Agriculture, so that the crops preserve the characteristics of the land. They are products that adapt to the biological cycle of the plant, natural, efficient and economically profitable products.
Products such as Biobalance have been highlighted, which belongs to a new generation of biotechnological solutions designed from different strains of microalgae specially selected among those that provide a greater capacity to optimise the absorption of macro and micronutrients in crops, allowing savings in the supply of inputs.
New products with Osmoprotective characteristics have been presented and have shown great interest among the attendees. This is the Reforzax line, specially designed to buffer salt and water stress.
Finally, within the line of microbiological products, Duobiotic Alpha has been presented as a new bacterial isolate, the result of the R&D efforts carried out by our researchers, thus completing the current range of microorganisms composed of microalgae and cyanobacteria. Duobiotic Alpha is the result of the isolation of a new registered strain, exclusively produced and used by Biorizon Biotech.
Our expertise at the service of the entire agricultural sector
Fruit Attraction has been the ideal place to present the trials carried out in different crops with different strains of microalgae, bacteria and cyanobacteria through two technical conferences conducted by leading experts.
In collaboration with the Cajamar Foundation, the University of Almeria, and the company SMT Agrotech, the technical conference ‘Microalgae and Microbacteria: biotechnological tools in sustainable agriculture’ took place, which was attended by a large number of visitors due to the quality of the speakers and the technical depth of the presentation. The speakers, experts in microalgae, bacteria and cyanobacteria, who presented their trials and conclusions, were Prof. Dr. Francisco Gabriel Acien from the University of Almeria, Dr. Francisco Gabriel Acien from the University of Almeria and Dr. Francisco Gabriel Acien from the University of Almeria, and Dr. Francisco Gabriel Acien from the University of Almeria. Alicia Céspedes from the Cajamar Foundation, the Business Development Manager of SMT Agrotech, Victor Rodríguez and the R&D Director of Biorizon Biotech, Dr. Joaquin Pozo Dengra.
The second technical seminar dealt with the cultivation of berries. With the title ‘Biological solutions for the protection and nutrition of red fruits’, this conference counted with the important experience in this type of crops of the company Duwest Drokasa Peru, which through Dr. Christian Door presented the results of the use of several of our products based on microalgae in different situations of need of bioprotection and biostimulation in red fruits. On the other hand, Dr. Maria del Carmen Salas, from the University of Almeria, presented the results of the different trials carried out with microalgae and bacteria and finally, our trials manager, Maria del Mar Bustos, gave an overview of the qualities of the different solutions with excellent results in berries.
A fair to remember for its high level of commercial activity
This year it has been a hectic three days in which important agreements have been signed and many customers and friends have come to visit us.
Our company has signed an important agreement with a Serbian company and many of the foundations have been laid for future prosperous relationships with new distributors in many other countries.
Fruit Attraction has become one of the most important trade fairs in the agricultural sector. After the pandemic and the removal of the masks, companies were eager to get back to business as usual and this has been very noticeable. The number of attendees was very high and of great interest to the sector.
Thank you very much to all of you who shared this fair with us and to all of you who came to meet us, next year we will be with open arms to welcome you because we are already preparing Fruit attraction 2023, we are looking forward to a new edition in which we will provide important news.
