23 de January de 2023Biorizon Biotech participated one more year in the Congress of the Red Fruits
As in previous years, Biorizon Biotech attended the important Berry Day that took place in Huelva, and once again came from the hand of its distributor Suministros Cruz Gomez.
The 7th Congress of Red Fruits was held on 22 and 23 June 2022 at the Palacio de Congresos de la Casa Colón in Huelva and brought together representatives of the soft fruit sector, companies dedicated to the production and marketing of these crops, as well as companies that provide services or distribute products for application and direct use in this activity.
Large turnout at the Suministros Cruz Gomez-Biorizon Biotech Stand
The good location, at the entrance to the Congress, made it easy for many of the technicians and farmers attending to come to our stand.
A stand where they were explained the production process of the main raw material of our products, microalgae, bacteria and cyanobacteria, and where they could also learn about the new products aimed at alleviating the new problems of the soils used for growing berries.
Many attendees asked about the results obtained in trials of both biopotentiators and biopesticides on berry crops, as well as citrus and avocados.
Proven solutions for berry cultivation
In this new edition of the Red Fruit Congress, Biorizon Biotech presented a wide range of products with very good results in fattening, colour improvement, rooting, vegetative growth and different bioprotective solutions for berries.
In addition, Optimum products aimed at improving the profitability, quality and sustainability of both intensive and extensive farming were presented. The application of these solutions is aimed at improving nutrient uptake, providing biostimulant effects to the plant and protecting the root from fungal and bacterial attacks before, during and after harvest.
During this edition, the results of “Biobalance” in red fruits were presented, the first Optimum product that, due to its characteristics, is capable of combining greater mobility and more efficient absorption of the macro and micronutrients present in the soil, thus optimising their contribution to the plant.
The microalgae strains present in Biobalance have been chosen for their prebiotic effect due to their proven ability to activate the growth of beneficial fungi and plant growth promoting bacteria.
This new product is of great value to the farmer, because the use of micro-organisms that live associated with the roots of the plants stimulates and facilitates their development, thus reducing the doses of fertilisers that the farmer will have to use.
A very special gift for technicians and assistants
On this day, it is worth mentioning that Biorizon Biotech has been more involved than ever with berries and gave the technicians attending the digital book on “Growing, processing, post-harvesting and trade of berries”. A complete analysis of the international situation of berry cultivation in which different experts analyse and evaluate it in depth.
In addition, for those who could not attend the Congress, Biorizon Biotech gives the opportunity to download the book here.
An excellently organised congress with good prospects for the future.
The 7th Congress of Red Fruits was organized by Freshuelva, as the association that brings together the highest percentage of producers and exporters of red fruits, and the companies with more dimension and activity within this sector and in charge of making the proposal of contents of the same.
In addition, it was supported by the Fundación Caja Rural del Sur and the institutional collaboration of the Huelva City Council, the Huelva Provincial Council and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Sustainable Development of the Regional Government of Andalusia, which was joined by Extenda, contributing its experience in internationalization and business exports.
It is worth noting the great relevance that this Congress is gaining every year, which began the day before with a technical conference called “The night of berries”, organized by the Joly Group and sponsored by Biorizon Biotech. This conference was a great opportunity to hear first-hand the opinion of several experts from the sector on the current situation of berries in the province of Huelva.
All this support emphasised the great dimension and importance of this event for the province of Huelva, making it the world epicentre for red fruits.
In short, an event that is becoming more and more important every year and which this year, after the pandemic, has gained great international interest.
